When a tropical storm is in the Caribbean or Gulf of America, the last thing you need is an offshore facility with personnel on-board. Tiger can help set up an emergency base camp to hunker down and ride out the storm near the shore base.
Tiger also provides Floatels (floating hotels) for companies who need shelter during the reconstruction process after a disaster has destroyed housing, electrical, communications and more.
From tents to base camp security, Tiger will make it happen.
Tiger has a long history of providing rental equipment and service after a disaster has hit off the Gulf Coast or Caribbean. In fact, we had firsthand experience working with clients during the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill. As soon as the news broke, we had teams deployed immediately to assist where needed.
Our largest contribution was to set-up and manage a 250-person base camps off the Gulf Coast in Cameron, LA. In addition, we provided crews and equipment for oil spill cleanup.
After Hurricane Maria pummeled Puerto Rico, Tiger was mobilized to ship emergency equipment to the island for a communications client. We installed metal housing containers on a vessel to create a floatel (floating hotel) for crews to work on the island to restore power and communications. When all was said and done, Tiger shipped fuel tanks, fuel trucks, vehicles, containers, reefers, mats, generators, pumps, heavy iron, groceries, supplies.
When Hurricane Ike blew through the Gulf Coast, Tiger was contracted to setup a 250-person man camp for a major IOC energy company operating in the Gulf of Mexico.
Our largest contribution was to set-up and manage a 250-person base camps off the Gulf Coast in Texas City that included tents for sleeping, entertainment, food distribution/catering, restroom and shower facilities, security, office and much more.
In the aftermath of one of the most devastating storms to hit the Gulf Coast (tied with Hurricane Harvey as being the costliest tropical cyclone in the Atlantic basin) Hurricane Katrina ripped through the region forcing thousands out of their homes and business. The extremely powerful and catastrophic tropical cyclone caused damage estimated at $125 billion, particularly in and around the city of New Orleans, in late August 2005.
Tiger was contracted to provide a 250 ppl base camp in New Orleans for emergency response personnel.
