Description
At an airflow rate of 2000 CFM, the FA2000EC provides more than 100 complete air exchanges per hour in a standard 12 ft × 12 ft room. The system is equipped with a true HEPA filter rated at 99.97% efficiency for particulate removal down to 0.3 microns. To optimize HEPA filter service life, the unit includes replaceable primary and secondary pre-filters. Replacement filters are standard and available from multiple suppliers.
The housing is fabricated from corrosion-resistant, heavy-gauge aluminum and sealed using Iron Grip neoprene gaskets to ensure an airtight enclosure. A link-lock latch mechanism allows quick access to internal components for filter replacement and maintenance. The unit is equipped with four 4-inch heavy-duty casters and four spring-loaded handles to facilitate transport and positioning.
Air movement is driven by a custom 1.75 HP motor coupled to a dynamically balanced blower. The motor/blower assembly is tripod-mounted with rubberized vibration-damping bushings to minimize operational noise and mechanical vibration. Precision tolerances are maintained throughout the assembly to prevent motor misalignment, rubbing, or drag.
Each FA2000EC unit is delivered fully assembled with filters installed and includes a one-year factory warranty. The unit is ready for operation upon delivery.
